About HEARTS
HEARTS, which stands for Home Educated and Ready to Serve, was founded in 2004, offering homeschool options on the Mississippi Gulf Coast at a time when there were none. What started as just a few families in someone's home has now blossomed to 115 families for the 2026-27 school year
HEARTS is divided into two semesters, fifteen Mondays in each semester for a total of 30 meetings. Every day begins at 8:30 with worship led by our own HEARTS worship band. Days are sectioned into 6 classes, ending at 3:30. Families have the option to attend any number of classes throughout the day, from just one class to the entire day. Families are encouraged to choose classes based on what works best for their families. We offer a wide variety of classes that vary from year to year - core classes such as high school sciences with labs to fun classes like Barista and Cooking. HEARTS does not guarantee the ability to fill every academic need and parents will need to fill in the gaps on their own. Our desire is not just to provide an opportunity for homeschool students to learn in a different environment, but also to provide community. We go on field trips, host moms' night, and even have open mic nights. At the end of the year, our students are proud to present Parents' Night, showing off all they have learned throughout the year.
